Informal One-to-One Support

Caregiving can bring up a lot—stress, uncertainty, frustration, grief, exhaustion, and everything in between. You don’t have to carry those feelings on your own.

Our One-on-One Caregiver Support offers a safe and welcoming space to talk openly about what’s on your mind. Whether you’re going through a particularly difficult moment, feeling overwhelmed, or simply need someone to listen, support is available.

Support That Meets You Where You Are

These conversations are informal and centered around what you need in the moment. Support can take place in person, over the phone, or virtually through Microsoft Teams, making it easier to connect in a way that feels comfortable and accessible to you.

During your conversation, you’ll have space to talk through your experiences with someone who will listen without judgement, help you make sense of what you’re feeling, and support you in identifying what might help moving forward.

What Support Can Look Like

Every caregiver’s situation is different, so there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on what you’re experiencing, one-on-one support may include:

  • A safe and confidential space to talk about your caregiving experience

  • Compassionate listening and emotional support

  • Help identifying and understanding difficult emotions

  • Guidance in navigating community programs, services, and resources

  • Mental health first aid when appropriate

  • Support developing a safety plan when needed

  • Help identifying practical next steps when you’re feeling unsure of where to turn

Here When You Need Support

You don’t need to wait until things feel overwhelming to reach out. Sometimes a conversation, a little reassurance, or help finding the right resource can make moving forward feel more manageable.

Our goal is for you to leave the conversation feeling heard, supported, and a little clearer about what comes next.

Online booking is available, or you can connect with us to learn more about one-on-one caregiver support.
