About the Event

The generation that came to Canada in the late 1800s and early 1900s was interviewed by the great Canadian journalist and author, Barry Broadfoot in the 1970s.  The late, Barry Broadfoot, compiled these fascinating memories into a book called The Pioneer Years. Join Sally as she shares excerpts from this amazing book – told in the first person - as she welcomes your observations, related memories and comments on these pioneering stories!
