Education & Community Workshops

Learning is an important part of supporting mental health and overall well-being. At Lake Country Health, our Community Speakers & Wellness Workshops provide opportunities for people to come together, explore a variety of health and wellness topics, and gain practical knowledge and skills they can use in their everyday lives.

Held every one to two months, these free educational sessions are designed to support personal growth, encourage meaningful conversations, and strengthen community connection. Whether you're interested in learning more about mental health, building resilience, managing stress, or participating in wellness activities such as guided yoga, our workshops offer something for everyone.

Topics will vary throughout the year based on the needs and interests of our community, with presentations led by knowledgeable guest speakers, health professionals, and community partners.

What You Can Expect

Our speakers and workshops provide opportunities to:

  • Learn about a variety of mental health, wellness, and community topics.

  • Develop practical tools and strategies to support everyday well-being.

  • Connect with local experts, organizations, and other community members.

  • Explore new ideas in a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment.

These sessions are free to attend, making them accessible to all members of the community. While many workshops are drop-in, some events may require advance registration due to limited space. Registration details will be shared with each event announcement.

Whether you're looking to learn something new, improve your well-being, or connect with others in the community, our Community Speakers & Wellness Workshops offer a welcoming space to grow, learn, and thrive.
