Awareness to Action
Intimate partner violence (IPV) often hides in plain sight—behind closed doors, in subtle behaviors, or in silence. It harms not just individuals, but families, friends, and entire communities. While awareness is growing, many people still miss the early warning signs, misunderstand the complex dynamics of abuse, or feel unsure about how to offer real, safe support.
Live Stream The Event

How can friends, family, neighbors, or coworkers intervene effectively without causing harm? And how can our community shift from passive awareness to meaningful, coordinated action?
Whether you're a concerned neighbor, a parent, a friend, a professional, or simply someone who wants to make a difference. We humbly encourage you to tune in to this conversation taking place, Wednesday, March 25 @ 7:00pm PST.
Post event this link will be replaced with a recording, as well as, resources referenced during the panel discussion.
Counselling Program
If you are a woman who has experienced relationship abuse, sexual assault, or any form of physical, emotional, or sexual violence—whether it’s happening now or happened in the past—the Stopping the Violence (STV) Counselling Program is here to support you.
Through free counselling (one-on-one or in a group), you can speak with someone who understands, process what you’ve been through, and begin to rebuild a sense of safety, confidence, and control.
You can use this resource at any point—there’s no “right time.” You might reach out when you’re in crisis, when you’re ready to talk, or when you simply want support in understanding your options.

RCMP
Victim Services

The RCMP Victim Services program is designed to lessen the impact of crime and trauma on victims and their families, assist in recovery, and help reduce the risk of further victimization. The program aims to increase victims' participation in the criminal justice system and effectiveness as witnesses in court proceedings. The RCMP provides support from the time of an incident to the offer of a referral to Victim Services, ensuring that victims receive the support they need without delay.
